Striike

Branding & launching a self-defense gym, tailored for women

Introducing Striiike, a personalized self-defense gym for women, developed as my Senior Capstone project over two semesters. Through consultations with law enforcement, military experts, martial artists, and women, I identified the need for holistic self-defense education. Striiike's curriculum integrates physical techniques, mental resilience, and verbal assertiveness training to equip women with the skills and confidence to navigate urban environments.

Striiike’s mission is to empower women, promote confidence, and contribute to a safer community. Addressing the lack of welcoming self-defense environments for women, Striiike provides a solution to the male-dominated industry. My goal was to create a brand that resonates with women, offering a safe and inviting space for empowerment.

Featuring an all-women teaching team, Striiike fosters a supportive environment that encourages participation and confidence-building. The branding encapsulates the essence and mission of empowerment, unity, and community. The three I's in the logo represent verbal, mental, and physical fortitude, and symbolize three women linking arms, reinforcing the idea of strength in solidarity.

Through this branding, I aimed to inspire and unite individuals on their journey towards self-improvement and collective empowerment, fostering a sense of belonging and support within the community.
